Are You Ready to Retire?
Complete the necessary steps to begin your Genesis retirement process:
- Contact Human Resources and your manager: Notify your Human Resources and your manager of planned retirement.
- Review the Are You Ready to Retire document: This document provides information on how to begin your Genesis pension and request a distribution from your 401(k), if applicable.
- Some retirees are eligible to enroll in Retiree Benefits: Review the Retiree Letter to determine if you meet the qualifications to enroll.
- If you are over age 55 and have worked at least 10 years for the company, you will receive Retiree Life benefits: Complete the Beneficiary Designation form.
- If you are retiring before age 65 and have worked at least 10 years for the company, you are eligible to enroll in Retiree Medical and Dental Benefits: Complete the Retiree Enrollment form and return to the BenefitsConnections team.
